About us.
‘The uniquely developed resin was the basis for our company. In fact it was the start of all development within our lines of business’
'Think Global, Act Local'
Benefil have been operating in the Netherlands since 1984. From our main production plant and in-house laboratory we develop and produce hardfoams for specialist industrial applications such as pipe filling, void filling and structural home repairs.
Our Core Values
‘Think Global, Act Local’ – Our vision serves two key functions within the company.
‘Think Global’ – We are committed to making our solutions globally available and delivering exceptional standards for all communities. Currently our products have been delivered to over 25 countries worldwide.
‘Act Local’ – We are passionate about teaching other companies about our products. By working together with local businesses we can deliver solutions that specifically target the individual needs of each location and community.
Research and Development
As a company developing innovative solutions is one of our core values. Our lab and research facility, managed via Global Resins Innovative, consistently evaluates our current practise making improvements where necessary. But another one of its key purposes is exploring new technology and implementing this in our products. We encourage and celebrate inventive solutions, ensuring we are always on top with the latest technology.
Why clients choose us.
Foam is at the heart of our company. By combining resin and hardener we can create a foam that’s durable and versatile, making it an ideal material for use within several industrial sectors.
Densities
We can produce different densities of foams, varying from 10-70kg per ㎥. For industrial grade projects our densest foam offers the most strength, whilst comparatively our lightweight foams are a perfect medium for plant growth. Depending on the specifications of your project our team will adjust the foam density to achieve the best results.
Versatility
Our foam is a highly adaptable product, able to maintain quality and function in diverse conditions. For example it can withstand different regional temperatures, be water resistant or instead function as a highly absorbent material suitable for projects such as hydroponics and roof gardens.
Accessibility
Our stand alone foaming equipment is designed to be easily transportable and efficient enabling us to reach voids that have formed in inaccessible areas. We've had our equipment flown in by helicopter, shipped by boat and driven in by small bobcats and quad bikes! If we can get there, we can make it work.
Eco-Friendly
Since before it was mandatory for companies to use ‘green’ products we have ensured our products were environmentally safe and have regularly invested in the development of new green technologies. We also produce several growing substrates, including our flagship substrate foam: Fytocell, for agriculture or horticultural use.
Who are we?
In 1984 Hein Verheijen founded a collaborative company with Ab Schut and Herman van Balen called SVC. Together they developed the resin recipe and hardfoam that we still use today and which was primarily made to be used in the petrochemical industry.
‘The uniquely developed resin was the basis for our company. In fact it was the start of all development within our lines of business’
The company flourished during the 90’s to offer many new products and services when it became apparent that the foam was extremely versatile. So in 1997 they began to produce various agricultural substrates and growing media which then launched one of the daughter companies: Resins Agro.
In 2006 Hans Mol took over ownership of the company, after years of working and devising within the company, christening it with a new name: Aquaresins.
Daughter and Sister companies
Over the last 40 years the company has steadily expanded, branching into several sister/daughter companies that each serve different industry sectors: Green, Industrial and Domestic.
